We’ve all done it…played with our scraps-twisting and turning and wishing for something to cool to happen. Fortunately, something cool DOES happen.
I love the Premo Copper clay and I was working on a project for Sculpey and I picked up a scrap and wrapped it. Hmm, so of course I couldn’t stop there…
These are #2 or second from widest on my clay machine. I’m cutting a piece slightly wider than 1/8 inch and the length of my clay blade.
Then I just wrap the strips around a bamboo skewer and bake.
Fortunately, it’s not rocket science cause I wasn’t in the mood for rocket science today.
I like to use these cord caps when I use this 2mm, 2.5mm or 3mm cording. I little glue on the cord and then slide the cap on. Also, make sure that you use your pliers to GENTLY squeeze that wire end flush up against your cord to help keep the cord in place.
I also put all my finding together before I add them to the cord-then I don’t have to wait for the glue to dry.
Did I get carried away? Nah, I only made 4 more (so far…)
That green on the top is the new Premo Metallic. I’ll confess I wasn’t too sure about it before I baked it, but now it just absolutely GLOWS…
Antique Gold has sat unloved on my clay shelf for awhile, but now I use it all the time!
And Grey Granite? YES, always…
